Take the RNLI H2Only challenge
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is launching the H2Only campaign today which challenges people to drink nothing but water for 10 days.
In 2015, RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews across the UK and Ireland rescued 7,973 people, saving 348 lives, while the charity’s lifeguards helped 18,181 people and saved 94 lives.

First developer services report by water companies
This week Water UK published for the first time an extensive set of statistics relating to the performance of services by water and sewerage companies for their developer customers. Arising from the Government's Better Connected guide, this new quarterly report aims to provide transparency about companies' performance over a wide range of activities, with a view to driving up standards.

Water is open for business
From today (1st April 2017), up to 1.2 million businesses and other non-household customers in England are now able to choose their supplier of water and wastewater retail services. This marks the extension of retail competition in the non-household water supply market to England, following its earlier introduction in Scotland.
